Georgiana Dragu
Georgiana is the founder and CEO of Crossingz, a networking platform dedicated to help people discover their professional tribe through targeted, highly personalized connections. Georgiana worked as an Economist at the European Central Bank (ECB), where she quickly understood that our social circle shapes our professional trajectory and what we think we are capable of achieving. After moving to the US she worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and later on pivoted into product management, at Amazon (Payments and Alexa).

Why Crossingz
We built Crossingz so that we connect in a selective, highly personalized way with others resonating with our journeys. I was born in a country with limited networking culture and after obtaining my Msc I cold applied for my dream job. I moved to Germany, worked as an Economist, relocated to the US, where I transitioned into investment banking and pivoted later into Product Management. Entrepreneurship was not something I planned from the get-go.
But despite my circuitous journey, my trajectory is not unique. My only regret is not making any of these jumps sooner. I wasted time because I built from scratch my network in 3 countries and replaced relevant conversations with research, cold messaging and talking to people who had little in common with my story.
We no longer stick to a country, role or industry our entire life. Still, career exploration is time-consuming and lonely. We truly connect when we resonate with each other’s experiences. It’s not about impersonal networking, it’s about connecting with others who understand where we’re coming from and our personal ‘What Now’.
